Fine Motor Fun!

Date: 7th Feb 2018 @ 11:47am

Fine motor movements involve the coordination of small muscles in the hands and fingers. Strong fine motor skills are essential to complete tasks such as writing, cutting, using a fork or spoon, threading beads, moving puzzle pieces, zipping, buttoning, and tying shoe laces. In Reception we have been working in small groups to develop our fine motor control! We have been doing all sorts of fun activities including, dough disco and dance warm ups, threading, glueing, cutting and using pipettes and tweezers!
