Year 5 Bookmaking workshop

Year 5 will be taking a trip to John Rylands library as part of our history topic 'How has communication changed over time?'. 

We will be learning about how books used to be handmade and sewn, before attempting to make our own. We will also get the chance to see some of the library's resources, including a copy of an early printing press.
