This term, in art, we looked and studied black British artist Lubaina Himid. She draws life-size figures that have political undertones in meaning. We had a lot of fun working out the meanings behind her work. 

We took inspiration from Lubaina and used a 'scaling up technique' in order to draw life-size figures ourselves. We then used drawing techniques such as cross hatching to add depth to part of our drawings. We also presented our drawings in the hall, just like in a real art gallery.
