Electricity

This term, year 6 have focused on electricity in science. The children worked so hard to recap their understanding from Year 4 including key vocabulary such as conductors and insulators. They recapped how simple electrical circuits work but then built upon their understanding by predicting what would happen when more bulbs and buzzers were added to circuits. The children then created line graphs to show what happened. 

The children also learnt the universal symbols for parts of an electrical circuit and had a go at drawing their own. They also recognised when circuits would not work and why that might be.
