National coding week, editing writing and learning our spellings

Another busy busy week in Year 6! 

It was National Coding Week this week and we had a brilliant time learning how to use and and make the crumbles work using code. The children learned how to wire up the crumbles properly and made sure that the code they used was accurate so that the servo could move and the sparkles would light up effectively. The children wrote monologues in English this week and on Friday we looked at the importance of editing our work and worked together to up-level and improve based on our writing outcomes. 

We have also enjoyed working in our teams this week to apply our learning of new spellings we have been looking at over the past couple of weeks.
