Autumn 2 Week 2

Date: 11th Nov 2020 @ 4:49pm

The children have been such busy bees this week - thet have been learning so much!

In English, we have been reading our class novel, 'Trash' and thinking about how we could give our main character, Raphael, advice. He has been faced with a really hard decision therefore we took part in a 'conscience alley' to help him decide what to do! In maths, we began looking at fractions and used objects to gain a mastered understanding of the whole and parts, which will help our understanding as our work with fractions gets increasingly tricky over the coming weeks.

In PE, we were lucky enough to have Salford Red Devils who worked on our passing skills and teamwork whilst playing a newly invented game of dodgeball. In Spanish, earlier this week, the children worked on their spelling skills and learnt the spellings of some classroom objects.

Well done year 6, you have worked so hard!
