Computing skills

In Class 1, the children have been learning some very important computational skills. They can now turn a laptop on, input a whole-school password, login to Purple Mash themselves and can search for a programme they need to use. Most importantly, they have learnt how to save a piece or work. 

During our computing lessons, the children have been making their own animated stories. So far, they have created an animal, given it a name and have used different animations to make their animal move. They've also inserted a new page to write sentences about their animal. Towards the end of the week, they will also add sound effects to their stories. 

I am very proud of how well they've worked on their animated stories and they should be very proud!
