Funky Fingers 🖐🏼🤩

In Nursery, we have been busy developing our fine motor skills! From threading beads and carefully placing counters to squeezing, rolling and manipulating playdough, the children have been strengthening the small muscles in their hands and fingers. Through these activities, children develop hand strength, coordination and control, becoming increasingly ready to hold and control pencils, make purposeful marks and eventually form letters and words. All of these skills are important foundations for becoming confident future writers! 🖐🏼🤩
