Making our own Playdough 🥣

Every Monday, a group of nursery children help make the playdough for the week. They listen carefully to the instructions and work together as a team to add each ingredient into a bowl. They all then work hard to mix everything together using a big spoon and then knead the playdough with their hands. The children enjoy this sensory experience, feeling how the dry ingredients become sticky and gloopy when mixed with water and oil, until it becomes soft and doughy. This is also a fantastic way to strengthen little hands and fingers, ready for lots of future writing!
