Our First Week in Year 6

The children have made an absolutely brilliant start to Year 6 this week! They have modelled outstanding behaviour and have shown that they are ready to learn. In English, they wrote their house captain speeches, which will be performed to the whole school next Tuesday 15th September. Please take some time to practise these at home as the more confident the children are, the better they feel stood at the front! Some children have also decided to make their own posters. This is absolutely fine to do and we are happy to print and post around school to help them gain votes. If you would like to do so, please feel free to send over. 

In geography, the children started to learn about climate change. They have used mutliple sources to work out how climate change is affecting different countries around the world and in turn, people's lives. They have worked so hard on this so far, please see photos attached.
