Pizza!

Year 2 enjoyed becoming pizza chefs and making their own healthy balanced pizzas! Before starting, we learnt about the different food groups and discussed how a balanced meal includes a variety of foods to help keep us healthy.

The children designed their pizzas, carefully choosing toppings and thinking about making a balanced choice. Many were brave and tried new or different ingredients that they hadn't tasted before. Some even discovered new favourites!
