Plants

In science, we have been learning all about plants. We have explored the different parts of a plant, including roots, stems, leaves and flowers, and learnt what each part does.

We also studied the life cycle of a sunflower. We discovered how plants grow from seeds into fully grown flowers, which then produce the seeds for the cycle to continue. The children enjoyed learning about different types of seeds and what grows from them.

We have also enjoyed going outside to identify the plants,  leaves and seeds that we discovered in our school environment.
