Reception Celebrate World Book Day

Today Reception had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day by coming to school dressed as our favourite book characters. The classroom was filled with princes, princesses, superheroes, animals and many other much-loved characters from our favourite stories!

Throughout the day we enjoyed sharing lots of different books together and talking about the stories we love. We also took part in a variety of story-themed crafts, creating some fantastic artwork inspired by the books we had been reading.

One of the highlights of our day was teaming up with Year 3. The older children kindly read stories to us, and we loved listening to them and looking at the pictures together. It was a special opportunity for us to share our love of reading with the older pupils.

Reception had a lovely day celebrating books, stories and imagination. Happy World Book Day!
