🌟 Reception – Our Final Week 🌟

We have come to the end of our wonderful year together in Reception, and what an amazing year it has been!

This week has been another busy one. On Monday, the children enjoyed their transition day, where they had the opportunity to spend time in their new Year 1 classrooms and meet their new teachers. We are sure they will all continue to shine as they begin this exciting new chapter.

We also enjoyed watching the Year 6 leavers' performance, and the children were thoroughly entertained by the fantastic show. It was lovely for them to see the older children celebrating the end of their primary school journey.

Later in the week, we had our Summer Fair, which was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun, games and smiles. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event.

On Friday, we celebrated the end of a fantastic year with our Reception party. We enjoyed music, dancing, party games and, of course, our favourite game of pass the parcel! It was the perfect way to celebrate all of the wonderful memories we have made together.

As we come to the end of the year, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the children and their families for your kindness, generosity and support throughout the year. Thank you for all of the lovely cards, thoughtful gifts and kind messages I have received this week, they have meant so much to me.

It has truly been a privilege to teach such a wonderful class. Watching the children grow in confidence, develop new skills and make lasting friendships has been a joy, and I am incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this year.

I hope you all have a fantastic summer holiday filled with fun, laughter and special family memories. Good luck to all of our amazing children as they move on to Year 1. I know each and every one of you will continue to do your very best.
