Year 5 really enjoyed getting hands on with these experiments!
Using what they knew about the properties of materials, they successfully separated a bag full of soil, paperclips, marbles and rice using tools (some handmade).
You may also be able to spot our attempts to make glue using only water and either flour, cornflour, sugar or salt... which do you think worked the best to stick buttons to paper and card?
