Science Week! Part 1

Date: 9th Mar 2021 @ 10:40am

We have come back to school during a very exciting time, this week is Science Week! We can't wait to explore the wonderful world of science through experiments and predictions through lots of different activities. We began Science Week by looking at static electricity. We compared how this was different to the electricity we need to turn the lights on and charge our tablets and looked at the effect of static electricty through balloons. We discovered that if we rubbed a balloon on our heads or jumpers, they would stick to the ceiling! We predicted if the balloons would stick better if we used our hair, jumpers or both and were amazed by the results! We can't wait to see what we will discover next :D
