Summer 1: Week 1

Welcome back! The children have settled back into school routines exceptionally well.

In English, we have started to read The Rabbit Problem, where, each month, the rabbits face a different problem. We are up to June, where the rabbits are facing a problem with crows. The children used this as inspiration to design their own scarecrow and write a character descrption about it.

In maths, we are starting to learn about multiplication and division, specifically counting in 2s, 5s, 10s and making arrays. It would be helpful if you could encourage your child to count in 2s, 5s and 10s at home.

In PE, the children have started to learn the basic skills of cricket and netball.
