Wow! What a busy halff-term it has been! I haven't even had time to update the school website (apologies!).  The children love starting our morning with a Jumpstart Jonny!

In English, we have read both The Rabbit Problem and Peter Rabbit, both of which the children have loved. They have written excellent character descriptions, information texts, and letters.

In maths, we have been learning about fractions, specifically halves and quarters. We have also been learning about position and direction: the children now understand left and right (by using their hands to help), and can now identify whole turns, and half turns. They have found quarter and three-quarter turns quite challenging so we will keep practising that, like we did outside.

In DT, we have completed pictograms of the most popular fruit and vegetables in the class, tasted different fruits and vegetables and made our own fruit salad.
