Week 2

Date: 14th Sep 2026 @ 1:06pm

Last week, Year 6 worked very hard in class.

In maths, the children learnt about multiples, factors and primes. They used counters to model their understanding and to physically show arrays. Please see our pictures attached!

In English, the children learnt about Roald Dahl and completed a biography all about him. They also learnt about International Literacy Day and how important it is to be able to read and write as well as all of the opportunities it gives you in life including: being able to read bills, speak confidently, get a house or rent somewhere, understand important events taking place on the news and getting a fabulous job of your choice!
