Week 3

Date: 16th Sep 2026 @ 2:03pm

This week we have had another fabulous week. The children worked so hard on their house captain speeches and performed them to the whole school. I wish all the children lots of luck as they now campaign to hopefully become the next house captain of their house. Not only did they speak so beautifully and confidently to the school but the majority have even gone home, as you aware, and created their own 'Vote for me' posters and voting cards. Talk about an invested class of children! Well done Year 6.

In PE, the children demonstrated their football skills (much better than mine might I add!) They worked this week on passing the ball and using the inside of their foot to control it. I even had children who volunteered to demonstrate how this skill should be performed in front of the whole class. When practising drills, the children worked so hard together to use the time to up their skills. Well done year 6! As always, please see the photos attached.
