World Book Day

Well, when Class 1 came in this morning they had a BIG surprise! There was a crime scene in the reading area and someone had stolen ALL of the books!! We worked together to solve the clues and figured out that it was the naughty Gruffalo. The children made wanted posters for him and we are going to check the cameras later to see if we can see him stealing them. 

We enjoyed reading the story The Flower Thief and used this as inspiration to draw squirrels, with some help from Draw with Rob.

We have also read with some of the Year 6 children, which we loved. 

What a wonderful day we have had celebrating reading and books.
